Our StickBaits use an internal weight system. On the larger size lure pictured you'll note both small and large steel weights. The larger weights are used to do a couple things. First off, they shift position, moving to the rear for longer casts, then towards the front of the lure upon retrieve for a stable come-back with weight forward assisted depth tracking. The also create a "rattle" upon retrieve, and the larger size creates a lower frequency sound. The smaller bb's are there for the sound, their rattle is a higher frequency. Both, entice a predator's interest, and the benefit of the lower frequency sound is greater sonic distance under water. This dual attraction, coupled with internal chambering, structural strength, quality hooks and excellent casting properties with superior fish attention stimulating finishes produce a super new lure that's very effective!
