The GTSurf Series was purposely built for fishing big poppers and walking baits for the international gamefish–The Giant Trevelly! These 2 piece 10’6″ designs ranging from XL to XXH in action. Like others in the “US” line, these feature the dual carbon helix core as well as multi-modulus layered construction. The blanks utilize a 70/30 split design moving the ferrule joint further rearward to protect the joint from failure under heavy load. These blanks have been successfully fished around the globe and a favorite for many GT fisherman where durability is a must.
